Synopsis: Daffy parachutes into Germany, apparently to briefly annoy Hitler.

Comments: Good title card. Stiff breeze fluttering the flag. Anthropomorphic Nazi (it was a human in the title card); telegram names him Uberkomt Von Vultur. Three monkey axis on the stationery (musolini crossed off). Referred to as Apes of Wrath. "It's your ka-rear", as in, "it's your ass". Black feet on commander. Schultz has brown feet (and a green beak (and sometimes face). Silhouette shot. Some sort of low class British song form Daffy. Hand puppet can can. Was WWII fought over who got to use the phone? The scrolling shot coming out of the cannon is impressive looking; technically I suppose it's very well thought out to mimic a (tilt?) pan moving on the X and Y axis. Realistic-ish Hitler. I am uncertain if some of the commander's opening speech (there is some English interspersed with not English) is gibberish or German. Has a stripper poster in a background.

  1. For what it's worth, Daffy's singing the end of "She Was Poor But She Was Honest", a British music hall tune: http://poemsandprose.blog.co.uk/2006/01/04/it_s_the_same_the_whole_world_over~439049/
