has been in progress for several months. A staff of about 200 is now engaged in expanding Paramount's cartoon production at 25 and 35 West 45th St. Most of the space formerly occupied by Patlie Newsreel at 35 West 45th has been taken over and the two buildings have been connected by a covered bridge. The new "Popeye" cartoons are now beturned out in Technicolor and work has been started on the "Little Lulu" series eight. Another series. "Noveltoons," with a variety of characters, is now in work.
