Synopsis: Tom and Jerry fight per usual.

Comments: Obviously a retitle as it says "Academy Award Winner of 1943" and shows the Oscar. Cat raid shelter. Eggs are hen grenades. Champagne bottles look attractive. Puckery Tom. Injury to crotch/bottom. Semi blackface sunflower gag. More eye acting in this than I expect in a T&J. Cut blackface gag after tiny firecracker? Nippley bra. Why did it win the Oscar? It's not especially wartime (it has war references, but not more than most other cartoons have), and it's not especially good.

  2. The deleted scene would have started at 2:43 (where there's a very obvious fadeout, added later).
