Synopsis: The Brooklyn rabbit versus the beanstalk giant.
Comments: Second cartoon in a row with a fairylike frame. Beautiful multiplane carrots; and this wasn't the one in 3D. Disney-esque chiaroscuro backgrounds. (And an explicit Gulliver reference in this, not like the one I grafted on in the last synopsis). "You think you're pretty C-A-T smart, dontcha'?" is a good line. I never understood why the glass cutters in cartoons were shaped as they were; presumably they are functional in the real world. Wartime blackout reference. Eyes in the dark gag; the opposite of a silhouette. It's nice to see Bugs not fully in control of a situation. The giant design looks Famous, or maybe even a certain type of Disney or Columbia, -like to me.
